WHAT INFORMATION WE MIGHT COLLECT

We aim to collect only the information that is necessary for the services and interactions you choose to have with us.

The type and amount of information we collect depends on how you engage with us. For instance, if you book a holiday or tour, we may need more detailed information than if you are simply requesting a brochure or browsing our website.

Online enquiry: When you submit an enquiry online, we may ask for information such as your name and contact details. By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable us to provide you with the services you select. We will not subscribe you to our email newsletters unless you specifically opt-in. We will not share this data with any third parties.


Booking: When you book a tour with Wild Frontiers there is a certain amount of information we require to fulfil your holiday. This can sometimes include:

Full name as per your passport

Date of birth

Next of kin

Postal address

Telephone number

Insurance details

Passport information

Details of any medical condition and medication 

Names of additional passengers

Credit or debit card information if paying online

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your information in a variety of ways, including through direct communication and engagement with our services.

Direct Interactions

You may provide us with personal information such as your identity, contact, and financial details when you communicate or interact with us by post, phone, email, online forms, or other channels. This may occur when you:

  • book or search for a tour, holiday, or other service through our websites
  • begin completing booking details on our website without finalising the booking;
  • request a brochure, subscribe to email updates, or participate in competitions, promotions, surveys, or market research activities, including through social media, email, or our website;
  • create an account on our website or submit information through online forms;
  • provide feedback or report an accident, illness, incident, or other issue;
  • contact us through our work contact, social media platforms, post, email, or instant messaging services. Please note that these interactions may be recorded or monitored for customer service improvement, quality assurance, training, security, and general business purposes; or
  • attend any events organised or hosted by us.

We may receive personal data about you from various third parties as set out below:

  • hotel providers or other parties we work with if you make a complaint to them

Inside West Africa may use your personal information for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to the following:

  • For administrative purposes, including contacting you regarding services you have requested, such as obtaining additional information for visa applications or completing pre-travel documentation
  • To evaluate and improve the quality of our services, including collecting post-trip feedback and customer reviews;
  • To provide you with updates, special offers, and general information through our e-newsletter. You may opt out of receiving these communications at any time;
  • If you book a holiday with Wild Frontiers, your information will be retained for up to three years after the completion of your trip in case it is required in relation to your booking. After this period, your information will be securely deleted.

We may need to need to share information with our ground handlers in the destination you are visiting.
